गांधी परिवार का गढ़ रही अमेठी से राहुल गांधी के एक बार फिर चुनाव लड़ने की अटकलें तेज हो गई हैं. इसके साथ ही रायबरेली से प्रियंका गांधी के पहली बार लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ने के आसार हैं. अभी बीजेपी नेता स्मृति ईरानी अमेठी से सांसद हैं, उन्होंने पिछले लोकसभा चुनाव में राहुल गांधी को हराकर इस सीट पर जीत हासिल की थी, तब राहुल केरल के वायनाड से चुनाव जीत कर सांसद बने थे. इस बार भी राहुल गांधी वायनाड से चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं, वहां 26 अप्रैल को वोटिंग होनी है. इसके बाद कभी भी अमेठी और रायबरेली सीट पर कांग्रेस उम्मीदवारों की घोषणा हो सकती है और ये लगभग तय माना जा रहा है कि इस बार राहुल गांधी अमेठी से भी चुनाव लड़ेंगे. मीडिया रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, कांग्रेस ने अमेठी और रायबरेली दोनों सीटों पर इंटरनल सर्वे कराया है, इस सर्वे के आधार पर तय हुआ कि दोनों सीटों पर गांधी परिवार से ही प्रत्याशी उतारे जाएंगे. दोनों सीटों पर नामांकन की आखिरी तारीख 3 मई है. और इन सीटों पर पांचवें चरण में 20 मई को वोटिंग होगी. इस बीच रॉबर्ट वाड्रा भी अमेठी से चुनाव लड़ने की इच्छा जाहिर कर चुके हैं, उनके समर्थन में पोस्टर भी लगाए गए थे, जिन्हें पुलिस प्रशासन ने हटा दिया है. फिलहाल राहुल गांधी के आने से पहले अमेठी में कांग्रेस दफ्तर को सजाया संवारा जा रहा है. हमारे सहयोगी अभिषेक कुमार त्रिपाठी ने अमेठी में कांग्रेस दफ्तर का जायजा लिया
