पंजाब को आज नया मुख्यमंत्री मिल गया है, सोमवार सुबह चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी ने मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ली है. चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी पंजाब के 16वें मुख्यमंत्री हैं, लेकिन पहले दलित मुख्यमंत्री हैं. अगले साल होने वाले विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले कांग्रेस ने अपना सीएम चेहरा बदला है. चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी के साथ दो उप-मुख्यमंत्रियों- सुखजिंदर सिंह रंधावा और ओम प्रकाश सोनी ने भी शपथ ली है. चरणजीत को पंजाब कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू का करीबी माना जाता है. वो एक दलित सिख समुदाय से आते हैं. और वो पहले दलित मुख्यमंत्री बन गए हैं जिसके हाथ में पंजाब की कमान दी गई. देखिए.
