अर्जेंटीना में अटलांटिक तट पर 14 पेंग्विन्स को समुद्र में छोड़ दिया गया औऱ बड़े आराम से ये पेंग्विन्स तैरते हुए समुद्र में चले गये. दरअसल, इन पेंग्विन्स को फरवरी में खतरनाक माहौल से बचाया गया था और फिर इलाज के बाद स्वस्थ होने पर इन्हें पूर्वी अर्जेंटीना में इनके लिए माकूल समुद्री माहौल में आजादी से जीवन बिताने के लिए छोड़ दिया गया. काले और सफेद रंग के इन पेंग्विन को मशहूर पुर्तगाली यात्री मैगेलन के नाम पर मैगेलैनिक पेंग्विन कहा जाता है.

Fourteen black-and-white Magellanic penguins have been returned to the chilly seas off the Atlantic coast of Argentina after they were rescued and rehabilitated after suffering from malnutrition, hypothermia, and dehydration. The boot-high penguins waddled down a windswept sandy beach after being released by conservationists, paused for photos with onlookers before taking the plunge back into the sea and swimming off to freedom.
