गाजियाबाद में ट्रैफिक जाम एक बड़ी समस्या है. वैशाली मेट्रो और मोहननगर के बीच तो रोज का तगड़ा जाम देखने को मिल जाता है. लेकिन अब उसी ट्रैफिक जाम को को खत्म करने के लिए बड़ी पहल कर दी गई है. ब्लू और रेड लाइन को जोड़ने के लिए रोप वे यानी ट्रॉली सेवा शुरू करने का फैसला लिया गया है. इस पर 487 करोड़ रुपये खर्च करने की तैयारी है और ये प्रोजेक्ट 2024 तक पूरा हो सकता है.
The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) on Tuesday said that it will go ahead with the proposed ‘urban passenger ropeway’ link between Vaishali and Mohan Nagar metro stations. Officials said that the authority decided to develop a ropeway system, instead of a Metro link to connect Vaishali with Mohan Nagar, as it will cost only about ₹490 crore as against an estimated ₹1,800 crore for the 5.04km metro route.
