सौर ऊर्जा पर देश की आर्थिक राजधानी मुंबई में सराहनीय पहल हुई है. कांदिवली इलाक़े की एक सोसाइटी सौर पैनलों से बिजली का उपयोग कर रही है. यहां परिसर के अंदर इलेक्ट्रिक गाड़ियों को चार्ज करने के लिए भी चार्जिंग पॉइंट लगाए गए हैं. कांदिवली इलाके की वसंत आराधना बिल्डिंग का अपना बिजली घर है. यहां सोलर पैनल से जो बिजली पैदा होती है और उससे सोसायटी की बिजली से जुड़ी तमाम जरुरतें पूरी की जाती हैं.
Commendable initiative has been taken on solar energy in the country's financial capital Mumbai. A society in Kandivali area is using electricity from solar panels.
