यमुना किनारे बना ओखला पक्षी विहार इस समय हज़ारो विदेशी पक्षियों से गुलजार है. नवंबर महीने से ही यहां विदेशी पक्षियों के आने का सिलसिला शुरू हो जाता है, और फरवरी तक प्रवासी पक्षियों की आमद जारी रहती है. अब तक यहां करीब 8 हजार पक्षी आ चुके हैं. अगले कुछ दिनों मे ये आंकड़ा 30 से 50 हजार तक जा सकता है. पक्षियों के आने से ओखला पक्षी विहार चहक उठा है. पक्षी और प्रकृति प्रेमी इनका दीदार करने के लिए यहां पहुंच रहे हैं. हर साल यूरोप, अमेरिक, कनाडा, साइबेरिया, तिब्बत और भी कई देशों से पक्षी यहां पहुंचते हैं. चारों ओर यमुना का बहता पानी, और पक्षियों की चहचहाहट इस पक्षी विहार को प्राकृति से प्रेम करने वालों के दिल रिझाने के लिए काफी है.
