टमाटर की कीमतें घटने की बजाय लगातार बढ़ती जा रही हैं. देश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में टमाटर 100 रुपये से लेकर 160 रुपये किलो तक बिक रहा है. मंडी में टमाटर कम पहुंच रहा है लिहाज़ा दुकानदारों को भी टमाटर महंगा मिल रहा है और आम लोगों तक पहुंचते-पहुंचते कीमत बजट के बाहर होने लगा है. हालांकि सरकार उम्मीद जता रही है कि आनेवाले एक-दो हफ्तों में कीमतों में गिरावट आएगी.
