महिलाओं के पहले एनडीए बैच में शनन ढाका ने पहला रैंक हासिल किया है. आर्मी स्कूल से निकली शनन ने एनडीए के पहले महिला बैच में टॉप कर इतिहास रच दिया है. उनके दादा आर्मी में सूबेदार थे और पिता आनरेरी नायब सूबेदार रह चुके हैं. अपने पिता और दादा से प्रेरणा लेकर ही शनन ने सेना में जाने का मन बनाया. पिता के फौज में होने के कारण उनकी पढ़ाई शुरू से ही सैनिक स्कूल में हुई. दरअसल सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश के बाद पिछले साल भारत सरकार ने एनडीए में लड़कियों के प्रवेश की अनुमति दी थी.
