सुप्रीम कोर्ट की सात जजों की पीठ ने बहुमत से फैसला सुनाते हुए कहा है कि राज्य सरकार अनुसूचित जातियों और अनुसूचित जनजातियों में सब कैटेगरी बना सकती है. जिससे मूल और जरूरतमंद कैटेगरी को आरक्षण का अधिक फायदा मिलेगा.
A seven-judge bench of the Supreme Court, while giving a majority verdict, has said that the state government can create sub-categories among the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. Due to which the basic and needy category will get more benefit of reservation.
