देश में हेट स्पीच के बढ़ती घटनाओं को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सुनवाई हुई. देश की सर्वोच्च अदालत ने गुजरात, केरल, नागालैंड और तमिलनाडु को नोटिस जारी किया है. इसके जरिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इन राज्यों में नोडल अधिकारी की नियुक्तियों से जुड़ा स्टेट्स बताने को कहा है. दरअसल केंद्र सरकार ने अपनी स्टेटस रिपोर्ट में 28 राज्यों में नोडल अधिकरियों की नियुक्ति का हवाला दिया था. जिसमें गुजरात, केरल, नागालैंड और तमिलनाडु जैसे अहम राज्यों के नाम शामिल नहीं हैं. जिसकी वजह से सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने स्टेट्स जानने के लिए इन राज्यों को नोटिस कर दिया. इस मामले की अगली सुनवाई 5 फरवरी को होनी है. उससे पहले चारों राज्यों को अपना जवाब देना होगा.

The Supreme Court of the country has issued notices to Gujarat, Kerala, Nagaland and Tamil Nadu. Through this, the Supreme Court has asked to disclose the status related to the appointments of nodal officers in these states. In fact, in its status report, the Central Government had cited the appointment of nodal officers in 28 states.
