यूपी के वाराणसी के बढ़ती ठंड को देखते हुए मंदिरों में भगवान को बचाने के लिए ऊनी वस्त्र पहनाए गए. साथ ही कुछ मंदिरों में उन्हें रजाई और कंबल भी ओढ़ाए गए. पुजारियों और श्रद्धालुओं का कहना है कि भक्तों की भावनाओं के चलते हर साल सर्दियों में ऐसा होता चला आ रहा है. ये सिलसिला ऐसे ही बसंत पंचमी तक जारी रहेगा.
