दिल्ली की तिहाड़ जेल प्रशासन ने कैदियों के लिए एक नई पहल की है. कैदियों को रोजगार मुहैया कराने के लिए दिल्ली में तिहाड़ जेल स्टोर शुरू किया गया है. जिसमें यहां के कैदियों के बनाए सामान बेचे जा रहे हैं. और इस स्टोर को वो कैदी चला रहे हैं जिनकी सज़ा बस कुछ ही महीने रह गई है. फिलहाल इसे पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के तौर पर शुरू किया गया है.
Delhi's Tihar Jail administration has taken a new initiative for the prisoners. Tihar Jail Store has been started in Delhi to provide employment to prisoners. In which the goods made by the prisoners here are being sold. And this store is being run by prisoners whose sentence is only a few months left. At present it has been started as a pilot project.
