अनुष्ठानों की शुरुआत कल प्रायश्चित पूजा के साथ हो गई. पूजा के यजमान अनिल मिश्रा ने प्रायश्चित पूजा से पहले सरयू में स्नान किया. इसके बाद उन्होंने मूर्ति निर्माण स्थान पर कर्मकुटी हवन किया. रामलला के लिए गर्भगृह को बेहद खूबसूरत अंदाज़ में सजाया गया है.
