स्वस्तिक का बायां हिस्सा गणेश की शक्ति का स्थान गं बीजमंत्र होता है. इसमें जो चार बिंदियां होती हैं, उनमें गौरी, पृथ्वी, कच्छप और अनंत देवताओं का वास होता है. भगवान गणेश की उपासना में स्वास्तिक का विशेष स्थान है. देवी लक्ष्मी के साथ ही बही-खाते की पूजा में भी स्वास्तिक का महत्व है.
