आमतौर पर कपड़े पर जो आर्ट बनाया जाता है, उसमें पेंट और ब्रश का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है या फिर सुई धागे का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है. लेकिन गुजरात के कच्छ में एक कला ऐसी है, जिसमें कपड़े को छुए बगैर ही उसपर कलाकृतियां उकेरी जाती हैं. इसे रोगन आर्ट कहते हैं. कुछ दशक पहले ये सदियों पुरानी कला लगभग खत्म हो चुकी थी. लेकिन प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने इसे मजबूती दी. निरोणा गांव के एक परिवार की मेहनत और काबिलियत से रोगन आर्ट आज दुनिया भर में अपनी पहचान बना रहा है.
