नागरिकता संशोधन कानून पर गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा कि लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले इसे लागू कर दिया जाएगा. उन्होने साफ किया कि ये कानून पाकिस्तान, अफगानिस्तान और बांग्लादेश के धार्मिक उत्पीड़न से पीड़ित लोगों को नागरिकता देने के लिए है.
On the Citizenship Amendment Act, Home Minister Amit Shah said that it will be implemented before the Lok Sabha elections. He made it clear that this law is to give citizenship to the people suffering from religious persecution in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
