द्रास में कारगिल विजय दिवस की रजत जयंती के मौके पर लाइट एंड साउंड शो का आयोजन किया गया. लेजर शो के जरिए सेना के अदम्य साहस और शौर्य की प्रस्तुति की. शहीद कैप्टन मनोज कुमार पांडे के साहस और बहादुरी की कहानी दिखाई गई. 2 जुलाई 1999 की रात कैप्टन मनोज पांडे की अगुवाई में खालूबार की चोटी पर चढ़ाई शुरु की गई थी. वीर जवानों की शहादत को याद करते हुए सेना के बैंड ने शानदार प्रस्तुति दी. देश भक्ति गानों की धुनों ने समां बांधा.
