भारतीय नौसेना की एक पूरी स्कवाड्रन को किलर स्कवाड्रन के नाम से जाना जाता है. आज इस स्क्वाड्रन को उनके पराक्रम और सहास के लिए एक बहुत बड़ा सम्मान मिला है. भारतीय सैन्य बलों के सर्वोच्च कमांडर और देश के राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने आज नौसेना की इस किलर स्कवाड्रन को प्रसिडेंट स्टैंडर्ड अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित किया है. किलर स्कवाड्रन, नौसेना की वही ''22वीं मिसाइल वेसल स्क्वाड्रन' है, जिसने 1971 की जंग में, पाकिस्तान को घुटने टेकने पर मजबूर कर दिया था. किलर स्कवाड्रन ने अपने कहर से कराची बंदरगाह को नेस्तानूब करके, भारत की विजयगाथा का प्रथम अध्याय लिखा था. देखें जीएनटी स्पेशल
An entire squadron of the Indian Navy is known as Killer Squadron. Today this squadron has got a huge honor for their valor and courage. The Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces and the President of the country, Ram Nath Kovind, today honored this killer squadron of the Navy with the President's Standard Award. The Killer Squadron is the same "22nd Missile Vessel Squadron" of the Navy, which forced Pakistan to kneel in the 1971 war.
