जम्मू में अब एक साल से ज्यादा समय से रहने वाले वोट डाल सकेंगे वोटिंग के लिए वो अपने नाम वोटर लिस्ट में जुड़वा सकेंगे और वहां के वोटर भी बन सकेंगे. इस मामले में जम्मू जिला चुनाव अधिकारी ने आदेश जारी कर दिया है. जम्मू में अब एक साल से रह रहे लोगों को वोटर लिस्ट में जगह मिलेगी. चुनाव आयोग ने इस मामले में तहसीलदारों या राजस्व के अधिकारियों को आवास प्रमाण पत्र जारी करने के अधिकार दिए हैं. वहीं जम्मू के जिला निर्वाचन आधिकारी की ओर से उन दस्तावेजों की सूची भी जारी की गई है. जिन्हें निवास के प्रमाण के तौर पर स्वीकार किया जा सकता है. प्रमाण पत्र जारी करने का मकसद उन लोगों को मतदाता सूची में शामिल करना है, जो रजिस्ट्रेशन में परेशानियों का सामना कर रहे हैं.
