आदित्य ह्रदय स्तोत्र मुख्य रूप से श्री वाल्मीकि रामायण के युद्धकाण्ड का एक सौ पांचवां सर्ग है. भगवान राम को युद्ध में विजय प्राप्त करने के लिए , अगस्त्य ऋषि द्वारा इस स्तोत्र का वर्णन किया गया था. सूर्य के समान तेज प्राप्त करने और युद्ध तथा मुकदमों में विजय प्राप्त करने के लिए इसका पाठ अमोघ है. सूर्य सम्बन्धी समस्याओं के निवारण के लिए भी इसका पाठ किया जाता है.
Aditya Hridaya Stotra is mainly the one hundred and fifth canto of the war scandal of Shri Valmiki Ramayana. This stotra was narrated by sage Agastya, to Lord Rama to win the battle. Its recitation is infallible for attaining brightness like the sun and for winning in war and lawsuits. It is also recited for solving problems related to the Sun.
