फ़्रेंच ओपन के फ़ाइनल में पहुंचने पर चेक गणराज्य की टेनिस खिलाड़ी करोलिना मुचोवा भावुक हो गईं. उन्होंने 3 घंटे तक चले इस मुक़ाबले में बेलारूस की आर्यना सबालेंका को हराया. आर्यना इस ख़िताब की मज़बूत दावेदार थी, लेकिन उन्हें ही मुक़ाबले से बाहर होना पड़ गया. वहीं जीत के बाद करोलिना मुचोवा ने तौलिए से अपना चेहरा ढंक लिया और रोने लगीं. ये ख़ुशी के आंसू थे. क्योंकि वो पहली बार किसी ग्रैंड स्लैम के फ़ाइनल में पहुंचीं थीं.
Czech Republic tennis player Karolina Muchova became emotional after reaching the final of the French Open. She defeated Aryana Sabalenka of Belarus in this match which lasted for 3 hours. Aryana was a strong contender for this title, but she had to be eliminated from the competition.
