भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान यानि IIT अब भारत के बाहर दूसरे देश में अपना कैंपस खोलने जा रहा है. तंजानिया के जंजीबार में आईआईटी मद्रास अपना पहला विदेशी कैंपस बना रहा है. इसके लिए विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर दो दिवसीय तंजानिया के दौरे पर हैं. रिपोर्ट्स की माने तो अक्टूबर से तंजानिया में IIT मद्रास कैंपस का पहला सत्र शुरू हो जाएगा. ये पहला मौका है जब किसी दूसरे देश में IIT का कैंपस बनाया जा रहा है.
